Hi! As you can see this is my first post. Thank you for your interest. Let me give you a touch of background as to my trip to Kalene Mission Hospital in Zambia.
I first visited Kalene in 2007, following my second year of nursing school.  I spent nearly 3 months volunteering at the hospital and getting to know the missionaries and local staff. Since the day I left, I have been praying about returning to the hospital for a longer period of time, as a RN.
I graduated in May from the University of Ottawa and sat my Canadian Registered Nurse Examination (CRNE) in June. I began working in the General/Vascular/Urology/Trauma unit at the local hospital.  Although I still have a lot to learn, the Lord has opened the doors for me to return to Zambia for 6 months to volunteer as a RN at Kalene and Chitokoloki Mission Hospitals. My flights are booked for a departure date in mid February, returning to Canada in mid-August, Lord willing. I would greatly appreciate your prayers for safety and for the appropriate arrangements to be made for my Zambian nursing licence and work visa.
Here, there or in the air
